Welcome back to our home tour! Today we are all about the dining room. Let me start by saying our dining room is t-i-n-y and its also a thoroughfare to the kitchen and courtyard. So to make the most of the space I've chosen small but multifunctional pieces of furniture and then kept to warm woods and pops of patterns to make the most of the space.
As a focal point for the dining room I created a little cocktail nook. The bargain artwork was inspired by Little Green Notebook and costs a bargain friendly price of $4! (Read more about it here) Added to the artwork is my favourite starburst mirror from Target which my dad lugged all the way from the states back to Sydney for me. Thanks dad!
Since our house was built in the late 1800's we still have the original fire place. It's a beautiful feature to the room and I've used the nook next to it to keep alot of our books and keepsakes.
