Welcome to the next instalment of our home tour - today we are looking at the master bedroom. I love our bedroom, its light, airy and the sunlight streams in from our double doors that lead onto our balcony. The best way to describe our interiors are simple and soothing - I've used a lot of whites and creams but layered textures like waffle weave, embroidered white florals and sear suckers for some interest and fun!
I've played on symmetry in the bedroom to keep things looking simple and uniform. Most of the furniture are DIY's or oldies but goodies. The bed head is a little DIY project my superstar mum and I made (The fabric is actually a Freedom shower curtain!) The bedspread I bought on sale from Crate and Barrel and shipped over to Australia while the feature pillow and bedside tables are from IKEA (Those tables have been through twelve years and counting with me!)

I love having personal touches in our home so in the background you'll see an image of my mum as a little girl in a vintage frame, a piece of wallpaper we use to have in the home framed along with a picture of JFK and Jackie O (I loooove them) Little bowls are the perfect hold all and of course fresh flowers are a luxury for any room!
Our wedding is a theme for the art in our room - it was such a happy day and I love being able to remember it in cute little pieces of art like our original hand painted wedding invitation.
The images above our bed are from our wedding, I loved the idea of having a non traditional shot so we choose my shoes and Aaron's tie. Even though the shots are different orientations I kept them uniform with two square Orson and Blake frames.
